who here has had an actual paranormal experience

i live in an old house and other then the occasional door closing by itself and hearing weird noises when no one is around, the scariest thing that happened was when i was a little kid, i woke up one night and saw SOMETHING sitting at my desk. needless to say i ran the *beep* out of the room and slept in my parents room. but what about but you guys. now i don't know about demons and *beep* like that and obviously nothing as bad as the stuff in this movie has ever happened. paranormal phenomenon is probably a lot rarer then people think what with all the shows about ghost hunting that are on.
but what have you guys seen.
and for all those silly skeptics out there, you don't need to respond.

not the kind of thing you're thinking of, but i'm curious what did this thing look like? it must be scary that it gave you this terrible taste in movies, still seriously what did it look like? i know many experiences by other people if you are interested but nothing i saw myself

Had a experience in our old house of some walking up and the stairs eve the dog heard it and went into the hallway and she started barking in fear. After that the door sounded like it opened and shut and then all was quiet

When I was about 8 years old I had trouble sleeping one night so I lied in my bed awake. I saw a tall, dark, hooded figure walk across the hallway. I figured it was probably my dad playing some sort of joke so I got up to follow it but there was no one there. My parents were downstairs and apparently heard the floorboards creak from my footsteps and screamed "Go back to bed!". It was then I knew it couldn't possibly have been one of them. To this day I don't know who or what it was or if I imagined the whole thing.

That's messed up. The thing I saw didn't talk. Talking makes it seem worse.

My entity or whatever didn't speak either. Just walked across the hallway. I thought it was my dad messing around with me but then he screamed up the stairs "go back to bed" because he heard my footsteps. I knew it couldn't have been him after that.
