Damn. I hate the current status of Hip Hop and Rap but...

...I actually enjoyed this. I don't even like T-Pain, Lil Wayne, Rick Ross, or any of the "new school" rappers in this movie.

I AM a fan of Ceelo, Snoop Dogg (I like old school Snoop. Not a fan of his new stuff), DJ Pooh, Kid-N-Play, George Clinton, Bootsy Collins, Andy Samberg, Bill Hader, and Kel Mitchell (say what you want about him. I grew up watching him on Nickelodeon).

I wasn't really to excited about seeing this. I was quick to judge, because of T-Pain's involvement. But I shouldn't judge a book by it's cover. I laughed my ass off. It's "stupid" toilet-bowl humor, but I liked it. This movie basically parodies hip hop and rap (mostly southern style). As long as you don't take this movie seriously, and don't mind that this smooth piece of animation is starring a few musicians that are (in my opinion) are RUINING hip hop and rap...then this is a fun movie to watch.

Did this inspire me to buy a T-Pain album? No.

Did this change my views on new school rap? Hell no!

But did I have fun watching it? Yezzir.

Being that this is a TV/soon to be DVD release, I give it a 7/10

If this was released theatrically, I'd give it a lower score.
