why was Hollins having himself checked? He was told he wasn't having a child with someone - who? His wife didn't appear pregnant. It was only after this that he asked if he'd always been sterile - questioning the parentage of the kids he already has.

I imagine donating your sperm for other people to have kids is something husbands and wives would discuss with one another, because I can see plenty of people being very uncomfortable with the idea that their spouse is fathering other children out there, even if there's no relationship involved. So the wife would have a good excuse to object to this, and he'd have no reason to lie to her about it - I doubt he was so desperate to donate sperm that he didn't risk mentioning it to his wife in case she said no. So wouldn't the wife, knowing that he'd find out about his infertility and realise the truth about his kids, prevent him from going through with it and say she wasn't happy about it? Just seems like such a ridiculous contrivance.
