November 18, 2011 - COREY's mother would like to announce that a recently released book about COREY (titled "License to Dream: The Life of Corey Haim") is completely unauthorized by COREY or anyone in his family.

i read the book, and its a look at his career, it doesn't contain any offensive material. i think corey would have approved of it.

I think the point is that Corey's family is not receiving any proceeds from this biography.
