If you look at the episode numbers, it's obvious Adult Swim started it with the 10th episode (Michael Jackson's episode is episode #110 - from Wikipedia).
I'm sure all the character introductions were done and inside jokes are referring to "earlier" episodes that are apparently going to be aired in the future.
The writers must be PISSED!!!!!!
That would make sense- I kind of felt like I was missing out on a lot here.
The show is OK. Not awful, but not great either.
Whoa! I figured, with the MJ episode being first, that they just jumped right into the game and gave no introductions as if the viewers already knew the show and the characters.

Yeah, I think an episode references Lawrence biting himself, but the episode it happened in might've been aired later.
