How is the ending even a question? *spoilers*

There seems to be some debate as to the ending, whether it was demons that killed Kate or David.
The ending was quite clear to me. It was demons. David was not crazy.

David could not have killed Kate. HE WAS DEAD!

She died of her stab wounds from david, she never made it out the door,it was her ghost thinking she got away. Thats why when she openes the door ,poof lights out. Lol idk. no one saw the demins but David. I think he killed Sarah too. He was wacko. Thats just my opinion though. ;-)

Actually, at one point Alex sees something. Kate asks him if he imagined it.
Alex says no, and then seems to 'see' something again...and yells for them all to get out of the flat.
I think the movie tried to be too ambivalent on whether it was real or not.
There were strong indicators that it could have been either, actually.

The film's description:

A supernatural shockumentary about a demonic presence in a young couple's home in London.
