I'm surprised this movie doesn't get more praise and attention. While I'll agree it's not perfect by any means its interestingly directed and at times supremely well acted by Eklund and Milo. It will keep you at the edge of your seat for sure.

The character study, isolationism, and human behavior explored is done very well. Reminded me of 10 cloverfield lane and Ex Machina which are both fantastic movies as well.

After watching I looked up on RT and other rating sites and was shocked to see the low ratings! How do you give sh&t like the Marvel movies a 80%+ rating while this has below 30%!? I suppose I can see why the mainstream public wouldn't like it, but it's even getting low ratings from a critical stance.

Anyway, if you're not squeamish and can find it on streaming I highly recommend giving it a watch. A true hidden gem imo. Also, keep in mind that this was done with a 3 million budget while similar movie likes Machina and cloverfield had 15-30 Million and are also considered very low budget.

10 Cloverfield Lane, thats the one i kept thinking all throughout it. Except the characters in that one werent as stupid decisions wise. Dont think id put Ex Machina with it, a very different kind of movie there.

Well, your first mistake is looking up RT. RT is just a bunch of circlejerking critics and specific select audience buying tickets on their platform. You want to see mainstream opinion you go to IMDB.
