I watched this on Netflix. I thought the film was OK but left a few plot holes/questions I thought I should raise.

1. Why did it only appear that some people were getting sick from radiation poisoning (the two 'bad' guys and arquette) nobody else seemed to be coughing up chunks or losing their hair. I might of thought those injured (shot guy and missing finger guy) might have been more susceptible if the air was toxic and the seemingly poor medical conditions they had. Please correct me if I am wrong.

2. How long were they down there? The passage of time in my view made the story weak. Was it days before the men in white suits came or weeks? How long before they started to get ill/go stir crazy. Strange that this got ignored and wasn't brought to our attention. Eva didn't appear to lose any hair/pink eye

3. Not so much as a question but group dynamics would usually not suggest that two people would share leadership. I would imagine one individual would rise to power and again a bit strange there was no real challenge for leadership.

4. The men in white suits. They remain mostly faceless by wearing their balaclavas over their nose and their goggles down. When they to to investigate they take the suit off an Asian guy and decide to pull trigger balaclava over his neck instead and the goggles up?? Great way to blend in or is it just me that thought this was a strange way to blend in to investigate.

1) eva's hair did start to fall out....there was a scene with her alone on the stairs near the end.
2) no clue. I thought eva was pregnant for some reason....(i thought her finace said they would be good parents...and her emapthy for the other mom...and the "scientist" identifying her by a special code....but not arquette's character...) If I'm right....less than 3 mos bc she never showed;)
3) I thought after Mickey only 1 guy claimed the power position....unfortunately he looked too much like "good guy's" brother for me to tell them apart. lol I assumed it was the guy that first started sleeping with arquette's character.
4) yeah this was weird. dont know.

They quote from the movie is (I think) "We got another breeder here".

This can support the IMDb-theory that the men were looking for females that could be used to breed back human kind, Arquette's character may simply have been too old.
- Or it could mean that the instruments of the guy in the white suit, indicated that she was pregnant.

I think she was, the dialog with the pussified boyfriend indicates that.

1) They were all effected and like the other poster stated, there was a scene where Eva had a chunk of hair come out.

2) I don't think we're supposed to know how much time passed. There were no windows to see outside to tell how time passed for the viewer. I believe some did have cellphones but why would they need them if they have no service?

3) I think maybe it was because the guys were just so crazy. I wouldn't want to risk my life to overthrow them. We saw what happened to Arquette's character. I don't think anyone would want that.

4) They were just regular people. They might have forgotten how the suit went on. They were in a hurry, scared, starving, and going stir crazy. Under those circumstances, I think that's forgivable.
