My interpretation of the title. **Spoilers**
I'm not sure if this has been mentioned elsewhere, but I have a theory as to what 'The Divide' is.
The Divide refers to the divide between right and wrong, and between morality and immorality. All throughout the film, the protagonists are harshly divided between those that care for others, and those that care only for themselves. As the film goes on, the divide is made weaker and weaker until the end when Eva leaves Mickey and Sam to burn alive and escapes to "safety" All throughout the film, she tows the line and tries to take the moral high ground, while others around her fall obedient to their own desires.
Just a thought, has anyone else come to the same conclusion? Is this nonsense? or am I stating the painfully obvious? I adore this movie, and would like to hear some feedback from others who may have pondered the same things as me.
I am Jack's signature.
