After the mother got loose, my thought was "up the stairs? really?"
Both the mother and daughter tried to "escape" by running up the stairs. I guess stupidity is genetic.

The mother ran up the stairs to look for the rifle but I definitely wondered why the daughter tried to escape up the stairs. There was quite a bit of belief suspension needed in this one.
