Why did Poppy keep slipping into an Aussie accent?

I guess the filmmakers didn't have the cash to keep overdubbing Poppy's slips into her native Aussie accent. I must have counted a dozen times she slid from US to Australian accent.
Oh and by the way why did the blue Thunderbird get towed at the end of the movie?

Her accent always slipped on WAT too. She must not be aware of it or she must not care too much. I noticed her Australian accent regularly on WAT.

True, but it seemed more noticeable here.

"It was meant to be the english accent of Belinda, didnt sound aussie!" . . . didn't sound English either lol , although I agree that's what it's sposed to be .

No, there were times when she actually slipped into her natural accent. Not when she was being obvious but during other scenes like the bar scene where she punches the ex. Actually I don't think she ever really grasped the accent in this movie. It's really noticeable with words like "weight" and "dominate."
