Did So Jin really come alive again? Where is her alive/dead body? Was Hee Jin really possessed as well? Did the spirit transfer from her to So Jin to make her alive again? Did the detective feed the talisman to his sick daughter? Is that why she's fine? What's with the stork? Since Hee Jin survived is she like So Jin part 2 after the car accident? And is the sick daughter So Jin part 2.1?
In other words, what the hell happened?
The crane is symbolic, consider that it is a symbol of longevity and purity. Beside that a lot of the end is ambiguous. I feel it's more about mood and uncertainty than about actually getting to the bottom of anything.

I think your ideas about the crane are interesting. I'm not sure I agree entirely but they are consistent with the way the film ends. I have a slightly different view of the film which I found completely fascinating.
