Comedy? Snoozefest

I feel snookered. I saw this listed as a comedy on the Epix lineup touted with THREE (of 4) stars along with 3 big movie stars. Who is doing the ratings? And who snookered these actors into taking the roles?

I'm of the right age for this. Where is the comedy? Where is ANYTHING that is unpredictable here? Why in the world did this get greenlit, & why in the universe would Meryl, Tommy & Steve agree to do this boring, slow-moving drama? Do my fellow babyboomers really NEED something like this on the big screen? On any screen?

I think it was classified as a comedy because of traditional classification --- it had a good ending (characters are happy and successful). As opposed to a traditional tragedy --- a bad ending (characters die, get killed, are unhappy, unsuccessful). It was never supposed to be a hilarious knee slapper.

I think it was a realistic and mature look at what some couples, that have been together for a long time, go through --- a loss of intimacy --- emotional, psychological, mental and physical intimacy.
