no woman in this movie and thats a good thing

hollywood generally gives too much importance to woman . they try to squeeze one in any role possible.
thank god they did not have women in this movie otherwise it would have ruined the complete experience of the movie with an unrealistic role .

The US Navy corpsman that took care of Phillips was a woman.

reply

As was his wife.

If Sandra Bullock had played Captain Phillips, she wouldn't have needed any Navy Seals to save the day.

reply

Do you honestly go into every movie worrying about how many women will be in it?

reply

OP sounds like an incel

reply

Or a parody of one. Though the lines are starting to blur these days.

reply

What are you talking about Willis?

Catherine Keener drove Capt to the airport. Then a female medical officer (fyi played by a real Navy Corpsman, so there’s some realism for you) at the end tended to Capt’s wounds and checked his mental state.

Plus there was a woman who answered Capt’s mayday too.

Guess we can all figure out what kind of porn the OP watches then.
