Can you beleive the guys who made Puppetmaster made this abomination?

This movie is the worst movie I have seen this half of 2009!

I can't believe the people who brought us Puppetmaster could make this piece of crap.

What did you expect?, Full Moon hasn't really put out anything good since they stopped being distributed by Paramount back in the late '90's, and really the only good Puppetmasters were the first one and Part III, the rest ranged from somewhat ok to Part VI & VII being total crap and they never stuck to any continuity. Basically this is just another in the long line of Charles Band ripping off his own little creature/doll/puppet theme, he's done it so many times it's getting ridiculous.

Same here. After about 30 minutes I gave up.

I just watched it. Not as bad as what you are saying. Not the best in any way, but I liked the campy acting of the father, the hot daughter and thought the overall concept was intriguing.

The skull heads guys didn't do anything however. they were shoehorned in from another movie or something. And I have no clue why one was pot themed other than Full Moon may have a pot head crowd because of its Evil Bong series.

And the ending just pops out of nowhere...as if its unfinished. which, a number of Band productions have a similar "ran out of money" type ending, so i was used to it.

All in all, if you are a fan of schlock like this, it has some good stuff going on. I have seen far worse, thats for sure!

I've seen worse, dude, and PM wasn't all that special to begin with.

If it makes you feel better, Charles Band had very little to do with making PUPPET MASTER. And his "Story By" credits are phony.
