I've seen a couple episodes in Japanese, but I definatly perfer the voices of the english dub.

Kelly Sheridan (voice of Sango) is definitely returning. Hopefully the same cast returns too.
the majority of the original english cast is returning except Moneca Stori as Kagome and David Kaye as Sesshomaru
instead Kira Tozer's playing Kagome and Michael Daingerfield is playing Sesshomaru
i have been searching everywhere to see about a release date and i have seen a few places said jan 21st 2011 but i guess not... anyone know when the english dub will be out for sure?

Psychologically, I think I'll have a problem with it. When you change a characters voice oh-so randomly (Ex Ranma Saotome :x) I feel like the character isn't the same anymore. Half of the character is the voice, no, more than half. And when you change that you make it a whole new character. During the Inuyasha and Kagome scenes, I'll be thinking, "Who's Inuyasha expressing his love to? Cos it sure as hell ain't Kagome" and during the Inuyasha / Sesshomaru scenes, I'll be like, "Why does that guy with Rin and Jaken by his side hate Inuyasha so much? Cos he sure as hell ain't Sesshomaru." I can't change that. It's psychological. That being said, I did watch this series in Japanese, which I'm not a fan of, but since everyones voice was different for me, it worked. Seeing as there are only going to only two foreign voices now, I think i'll have a problem with it.
To continue my ranting, what the hell was the dilemma with coming back to film this show? I'm pretty sure David Kaye lives in California and is steadily approaching his dream of... somethin. And I haven't heard anything on Monica Stori's side. But I think it would be the courteous thing to do to just come back for 26 episodes! It's not like they're asking you to redo the whole 167 + movies. I couldn't imagine being a part of a long awaited series and not doing it. I couldn't imagine it! How could I ever do that to the fans? It's not like they're asking much. And if it happens to be Viz who was responsible for the change, then they can metaphorically suck it. The series won't be the same, and I'm scared. Do you guys not remember what Ash's (Pokemon) voice change brought? Absolute idiocy. Let's just pray these new voice actors don't try to find their own and do their best to imitate their predecessors.
I was thinking the same thing, especially with Kagome. I was sooo looking forward to their relationship growing in the final act but now it seems like Kagome died with season 7 and was replaced with her evil twin >.<

K, it's been like *2 years* since 'the final act' eps came out in Japan. And about a year since we heard that they had recorded an english dub with the majority of the original english voice actors - what's with the hold up for the north american dvd release date?!
Does it really take that long to synch?

Monica, I believe, retired. Not to mention I think they wanted an 'older' sounding Kagome since she's supposed to be a year or two older in TFA compared to the first seven seasons.
As far as a release date goes, I really don't know.. but I'm definitely as impatient as you guys are! XD (Not to mention I HATE FLCL.)
