Kagome's Voice.. and other changes

Out of all the voice changes she was the one that was most distracting to me, I don't think they sounded at all a like but when I watched this series I marathon through the original again.

Sesshomaru's voice was a close match but the original voice actor did a much better job and keeping Sesshomaru more monotoned, indifferent, which made Sesshomaru such a bad ass.

Kaede didn't bother me because she didn't have much speaking parts

In live action it makes much more of a difference. After an episode or two the vocal difference became irrelevant and the storyline, as it should, took over.

I felt Kagome's new actress was still able to capture everything about her. I did not mind that she sounded nothing like Monica, her voice still fit.

I am not shocked that some of the roles were recast the first dub was dubbed in 2001,Final Act was dubbed like 10 years later.

Kagome's voice was so close I could barely tell the different. Sesshomaru's was the one I had issue with. David Kaye has such a distinct voice and the new actor just didn't sound close to it. That threw me out of the moment a bit since his voice was always my favorite.
