Short version - Don't bother unless you thoroughly enjoyed 2001: a space odyssey.

Long Version - I couldn't sit through 2001, but forced myself to get through Beyond the Black Rainbow. Actually, never mind...just don't bother unless you liked 2001. Same pacing, same cinematic style, vague plot, minimal dialog. You'll either hate it or love it.

2001 is my favorite film of all time, sounds like I'll be digging this.
