Straight to DVD?!

Usually, I am strongly against sequels because they usually just look cheap and end up taking away from the original product but this sequel actual looks quality.
So why is this going straight to DVD?! There are enough sound actors like Keith David, Pooch Hall, and others to make it successful and not an overacted, low budget, mess...guess I'll just have to buy the DVD.

Are you really surprised that this movie is going straight to DVD? The original movie was OK at best, it was not all that. I am more surprised that the sequel has received a green light to be produced.
