Something that went un-noticed

Through out the movie everyone notice the big Statue of Buddha right with the Swastika on its chest.

(FROM WIKI) The first Shaolin Monastery abbot was Batuo (also called Fotuo or Buddhabhadra, not to be confused with Bodhidharma) a dhyana master who came to China from India in AD 464 to spread Buddhist teachings.

Also dug up this info:

In Hinduism, the right-hand (clockwise) swastika is a symbol of the sun and the god Vishnu, while the left-hand (counterclockwise) swastika represents Kali and magic. The Buddhist swastika is almost always clockwise, while the swastika adopted by the Nazis (many of whom had occult interests) is counterclockwise.

Following a brief surge of popularity in Western culture, the counter clock motion swastika was adopted as a symbol of the Nazi Party of Germany in 1920. After Adolf Hitler’s rise to power in the 1930s.

Now that being said look at which way that Swastika is turning on the big Buddha.
卍 looks like that which is counter clockwise. Now in Japan they use this symbol like this to display temples on maps:

On Japanese maps, a swastika (left-facing and horizontal) is used to mark the location of a Buddhist temple. The right-facing manji is often referred to as the gyaku manji (逆卍, lit. "reverse manji") or migi manji (右卍, lit. "right manji") , and can also be called kagi jūji (literally "hook cross").

On a lot of the newer restored Buddha's that were made from those that where destroyed were made with the swastika going in the way, the way Japanese starting using it. But on the older ones that have been through countless years have it facing the other way in tons of Temples around China. Also in India it always faces clockwise so I see no reason why this one should not as well.

Korea then soon followed with the same look as Japan and when the Nazi's came about they just tilted it left. But the true look of the swastika far as religion goes and history back in the time before and during this movie that swastika would be facing the other way.

Does it really matter when Peter will just blow it all up for treasure anyway? Peter loves treasure and your Buddha is in Peter's way!
