I always thought Clive was in love with Gary

Did anyone else ever get this vibe in the first 2 series? I don't know why but I always felt Clive was slightly antagonistic towards Miranda, and I thought it was because he was jealous. Then there are little moments like when Clive is watching Gary do his air guitar (he looked a little starry eyed to me) and how he revealed to Miranda about Gary and Tamara and it so did NOT look like an accident.

Anyone else get the whole jealous unrequited crush thing from him? :)
