Bear With...Bear With...Bear With

Just completed binge-watching this show (the finale via YouTube) and I love it! I don't think I've ever laughed so hard, so consistently during a show's run. Discovered it because of Tom Ellis 😍 - I'm looking forward to his new show, "Lucifer" premiering in January and when I checked out his filmography, saw this one and wanted to check it out. I immediately fell in love with the entire cast, which is so rare (for me) in today's television shows. Too often I love one or two characters, hate / loathe one, and am 'meh' about the rest of the cast - but with Miranda, I missed characters if they didn't get enough screen time or if they weren't in the episode.

I honestly love the entire cast, but I have to say, I really liked Tilly. I don't know why, but every freakin' time she said, "Bear with.." I lost my mind.  Didn't matter that I couldn't understand her half the freakin' time either - I just loved her scenes. Now, I'm American, and I didn't understand some of the slang, but I got the gist, but with Tilly - is there anyone who could understand her 100%?!

I like Gary - okay, I love Gary - but towards the end, he seemed to change...? Is it just me?

I think it ended just at the right time, before it could get stale. I'm so glad with the ending. I guess Gary got divorced at some point....

Anyway - glad I discovered it and have already started recommend it to friends.

I'm an American as well and I loved your review, it's what I like to call "spot on"! LOL
It's not just you; I felt the same way about Gary towards the end, not bad per say, just different.

Isn't it interesting that when Miranda and Gary finally get together, Stevie's afraid of being forgotten and left out?
She certainly didn't feel that way when she was havng a fling with their old French teacher, was making jokes about how Miranda had no "allure" and was hopeless when trying land dates with guys!

I thought it was more interesting that Miranda & Tilly were such great friends by the end of the series. They could have gone in a different direction with that relationship, but turns out they understood each other quite well. I loved their relationship.

For all of Stevie's "allure" she had her share of issues landing men as well!  I think it's pretty natural that the BFF being left behind is anxious about changing the status quo. I loved the banter between Miranda & Stevie - especially when they were fighting with one another.

I loved the fact that by the end of the series that Tilly and Miranda became friends as well. What really got me laughing was the fact that Tilly, who seemed to have her life settled ended up becoming humorously wacky while Miranda actually became the hilarious voice of reason and got more perspective!
