Reusing Video Clips

It's only the second episode and they already started to reuse video clips. Did they start running out of decent clips or something?

The first episode was similar to "Pole to Pole" from Planet Earth. It's a compilation of different parts of the remaining episodes. Each new episode will be more focused and less jumpy, never fear.

How very dare they use the first episode as a precis/abstract for the subsequent episodes; and then... say the same thing in more detail later!
It's almost like it isn't standard practice or something.
