I agree. That person who typed that rant about "someone better looking and richer than you" to be a true douche. Almost like the guy the docu was about !! It sucked and to the OP don't even bother looking him/her up anyway lol.
To the moron who made the smug post ... I'm sure the guy was way richer and all the other rude comments you made to be true about you. I have a feeling your from the UK as well. Typical smug jerks who think who they are. If your not then sorry to the UK users but I'll stick by that comment. Your still a J/O !! Watch a real good documentary of someone of relevance in the last 30 years named Chris Farley. So much better . Who cares about this guy from the 50s and his revelations of "Hollywood uses its stars for their own gain" . That's nothing new or that anybody doesn't know unless u live in N. Korea .

I pretty much agree with julythreeone. But if the OP wants to come along to this board to display his/her startling ignorance of film history, that is his right. Instead of showing off how unaware/uneducated he is, why not do a little self-education and research Tab Hunter and answer the question for himself?

Obviously, because he has no real interest in increasing his knowledge of film history, he just wants to be silly. Quite likely he trolls through IMDB boards posting such inane nonsense all over the place.

Again, his right. Also his right to waste his time doing so. But if he find such activity amusing, so be it.

Tab Hunter (born Arthur Andrew Kelm; July 11, 1931) is an American actor, singer, and author who has starred in over 40 films.

Hunter, James Dean, and Natalie Wood were the last of the actors placed under exclusive studio contract to Warner Bros.

Hunter had a 1957 hit record with the song "Young Love", which was #1 on the Billboard Hot 100 chart for six weeks and became one of the larger hits of the Rock n' Roll era. It sold over one million copies, and was awarded a gold disc by the RIAA.

Hunter was Warner Bros.' top money-grossing star from 1955 through 1959.

Hunter has a star on the Hollywood Walk of Fame at 6320 Hollywood Blvd.

Tab Hunter was a HUGE deal in the 50s. My sister, two years older, had a crush on Tab as did many of her girl friends. He appears to be a nice guy, a sincere man and I would like to meet him and say hello. My wife is younger than I am and has little remembrances , however. I do not know why posters here just cannot accept him as a star that he was.

The OP merely asked " Who?" ..
Maybe they were being facetious , but hardly a reason for the OTT response they received .
Take a chill pill .
Not everyone knew Tab Hunter .
I knew nothing about him or his life until I saw this documentary , and I enjoyed it very much .
He seems very likeable , and a true Hollywood Survivor , no angst.. despite having to hide his sexuality .
But , it seems there were many , many more like Hunter and Hudson , who were in the same boat .
