My guess is yes. All of his scenes this season were with Cat, so it would make sense. Seems like they are swapping the cat/jay with the Lexi/doc buddy storyline.

Yeah, I knew that Cat dying would mean Jay leaving too. He just doesn't fit in the show very well with out her.
