No season 3?

With Ruta Gedmintas in a new tv series called (Do no harm) is it likely that a third season will be made?I know Frankie and Cat left midway through season 2 leaving Lexie & Tess to carry the show but a third season without the two core characters makes the chance of the series continuing unlikely.

So it's treason then!
