I have an idea for a movie!!!!

So here's my idea. You make a movie about a dance competition. You have the one town or school (depending on the scope of the cinematic masterpiece), and they are the stuck up preppy kids who won the last 3 dance competitions in a row. They are like the dance equivalent of Ivan Drago. Then you take some troubled inner city teens who all come from hard times. One of the girls has to deal with a dad who drinks. She is the token white girl. Then you have the boy who is about to go to jail unless he participates in a community restoration project. The third kid is Asian and nothing more. He dances good, but he is Asian and fills the requirements. Then you have the 4th person, another girl, and she is full of sass. Her and the criminal one have a cute back and forth going on and you know that they are going to end up together simply because they hate each other so much at the beginning. The 5th one was from the stuck up preppy team but he had a falling out and he decided to join up with these guys.

So they start their first practice and they all do things their own way. Nobody works as a team and they all spend the whole practice trying to one up each other. So the coach comes in and he used to be a part of a good dance crew but he got injured and works in the inner city as a juvenile officer.

So the first competition comes and they lose by a lot. The coach yells at them and the criminal kid leaves because he "doesn't have what it takes." They get better throughout the movie and win some small time local competitions.

So moving on, the criminal comes back after getting arrested again and having the coach bail him out. Then the big competition comes and it's like a tournament ala Karate Kid. Both teams make it up to the final competition. You have the rich preppy kids in their matching uniforms and their coach in the matching coach's outfit. Across from them you have the inner city kids in their non matching uniforms because they come from the hard side of town and can't afford the nice uniforms. The dance competition starts and the preppy kids go first. They make the arena (oh by the way it's held in a huge arena) go crazy. Then the inner city kids do their thing and all of that teamwork and practice shows. They finally came together as a team. The results go to the judges and the inner city kids lose by 0.1 points. They are discouraged but the coach gives them a talk and tells them how proud he is of each and every one of them, and then it cuts to him and the criminal kid sharing a bonding moment. Back on the floor, the judges are having a conversation and the one judge changes his score so the inner city kids end up winning by 0.1 points. The preppy kids get mad and their coach yells at them, but the leader tells the coach he is disappointed in the coaching and hands the criminal kid the trophy.
