Whom would you have liked to see had it not been big B?
As for me.. I am dying to see it..!
Looking forward to seeing Big B as Auro. Also looking forward to Abishek as his father.

I saw the movie a couple of days back.
And I have to admit, Amitabh Bachchan is simply the greatest actor India has ever had, ever. His range has never failed to astonish me, be it as the angry young man in the 80's, or as the old lovable Ghost (Bhootnath), the honest cop doing his duty before retiring (Khakhi), the loving husband separate from his wife by his own selfish children (Baghban), the powerful politician/powerbroker (Sarkar), the last Don standing (Agneepath), or even as the master of reinvention - playing the host on Kaun Banega Crorepati...
Auro, is simply fantastic. Real, believable, and most of all a compelling central character. AB brings it to life, and how...

I watched the dvd 2 days ago. I had hard time to guess who the actor played Auro was. I thought it's SRK.But, when the movie's over,and I saw Big B's name there, I was jumping out of my couch!!! UNBELIEVABLE!!!!! He REALLY played awesomely there!!! He " fooled me ". LOL.

How could you think it was SRK? SRK is always doing variations of his i-know-you-will-fall-in-love-with-me debonair-hero-with-a-swagger, so he could never lose himself behind a mask; he'd always be extremely recogniseable.
Sorry, SRK is always playing the star, he's not a character actor at all (with 2 exceptions: Suri in Rab ne Banadi Jodi and the coach in Chakh De).
As a fan of SRK but becoming a bigger fan of Big B I fully agree with you 110% SRK relies so much on his cool good looks n swagger i cant see him behind a mask and allowing his emotions to show the depth and feeling we are to experience and take in The Big B really nailed this role and opened us to something so deep and strong that pulled our hearts out to show us what love and life are full of just through emotions
