My hatred for hipsters

was triplicated by this movie. I didn't finish it because it was labeled as a comedy but I don't find anything remotely funny about a man lying over the status of her daughter's mortality so that he can go smoke weed in a trailer.

Wow, this was supposed to be a comedy? Yikes.

Just saw this last night. For me, the film really perpetuates the stereotype that hippies are incredibly resistant to taking responsibility and accepting the reality of the situation they've put themselves in through their own choices in life. They always would rather pack up and move away, as if reality won't be waiting for them wherever they go.

I hate your stupid signature

Please do not confuse hippies with slackers. They are not the same.

You're so original.

If this movie were about a middle aged dud in a suit it would be about a midlife crisis, like American Beauty. But because the dude is youngish with shaggy hair and tats he's a "hipster" - you don't even know what you hate, and you came to a message board to bitch about something that you're not even right about, and managed to sound boring and stupid in the process.

So yeah. My hatred for boring complainy posers who whine about crap they get wrong is triplicated by your post.
