I don't know much about festival films like this, and their releases, but will this film ever be widely released? or will it only be shown in a few theater in big cities... I live in a very rural area (1 hour to the nearest theater), so will I have to wait to catch it on DVD?
shareWish we knew but no one at Weinstein is saying anything. Kinda sucks as most of the other films that screened at TIFF are either already out in theatres or will be in the coming months.

shareIt's up to TWC when it's released, not the film's producer. Harvey Weinstein said when TWC bought the distribution rights for the US, Canada, the UK, and France, that it would be released in 2014 in time for awards season. A summer release would mean the awards he had in mind were Independent Spirit Awards.
