Was 'Smitty' shot in 2009?

The internet site http://iowafilminsider.blogspot.com/2011/11/movies-in-iowa.html lists 'Smitty' as shot in Des Moines in 2009, which correlates with the first message on this board, 1/10/2010, asking when it would be released.

Does anyone know the dates of the film shoot? They can be added to the Box Office page of 'Smitty'.
