In the 99 years since the original book was written there has always been some discussion as to what actress could play the incomparable Deja Thoris. It is actually something of a popular game amongst ERB fans. Huge numbers of names have come up of women who were more or less right for the part, I must have heard a thousand. Miss Traci Lords was one name that has never come up. I doubt it ever will again either.

I'm sure your right-Traci Lords was never a name I heard as a possible Dejah Thoris. Then again neither was Lynn Collins, Andrew Stanton's Princess for the big budget version so you have to wonder.

I just watched the movie. I taped it (yes I still use a VCR) and liked being able to fast forward past some of the parts (and commercials). I thought Traci Lords made a fine Princess. Disclaimer: 1) I am getting old 2) I do not have HiDef TV.
