The Company Of Wolves (1984)
I strongly recommend this film. It's an early Neil Jordan film. It has dashes of horror, bits of fairy tale imagery and strong artistic flare.

. . .
It seems more like a children's movie. It doesn't seem to fit the style of this movie, IMHO. But, I would check it out if it were on a satellite movie channel. I like good children's movies.
The Wizard of Oz
Labyrinth
Witches
Just to name a few.

I can tell you flat out that it isn't a children's movie. It has a fairy tale feel at times, but there is some definite scary/horror imagery in it.

I'm only going by the look/feel of the trailer.

It's not a children's movie, most def. I haven't seen it in years though, but there are underlying messages within the film and definitely what you've probably heard before with the tale of Little Red Riding Hood. The innocent girl, and the not-so-innocent stranger who comes bearing gifts. As for the imagery, you have to take in consideration that it was made in the early 1980s.
shareOkay. Thanks for letting me know. I haven't seen it yet. I totally forgot all about it. I'll try and keep the title in mind and catch it when it airs on DirecTv.
