I randomly thought about this, but the reason why he gave everything away is because everything must go! he wanted to start a new life no memories everything new. extremely doubt he was going to kill himself
shareYep, yep. The more of his physical possessions Nick gave away, the better able he was to part with his bad habits and debilitating regrets. In the context of this film, killing himself would be giving up, pushing people away, forgetting about trying to get his life back in order. I certainly don't thinks that's where Nick was heading at the end of this film.
