I thought EMG was easily Will Ferrell's best movie of his career (so far). He gave a very good performance. I hope he looks into doing more films like these. It was nice to see him do something where he didn't act like a completely unrealistic fool.

I am only a fan of some of his SNL stuff,
and have only seen a couple of his movies,
but he was excellent in this movie.
I could see where he'll do more of these types of movies,
and not the yelling and over-acting he usually does.
Agree with you!! I hope he does do more drama and less brainless comedies. I found the film very sad -- watching a man shed his old skin and coming to terms and letting go of this marriage and preparing for a new chapter in his life.
