Series spoilers?

I've been slowly making my way through each series for the first time (I started a few months back when I found out about the mission log podcast). I've watch all of TOS, the animated series, the first 6 movies and I'm 3/4 of the way through season 2 of TNG. I've also seen the two Abrams movies.

My question is whether or not this movie contains any big/important spoilers about any of the series'. I want to check it out but don't want to ruin anything for myself.
