terrible acting, terrible movie

This one is soooo not worth your time or money or Netflix. Craig Weizbacher who plays Mitch is such a lousy actor, only to be exceeded by the fatass, repulsive Danny, played by someone named Matt Lusk. The main woman characters are almost as bad. A big THUMBS DOWN to Mr. Tom Vaughan!

I agree with every word you said.

However, it has Mayra Leal in it and until she starts making better movies, this is what we have to put up with to watch her.

reply

Mayra Leal is a terrible 'actress'.

I guess the few people posting here drooling about her body are the types who basically go to see, or rent, films which feature nudity. Why not simply rent porn, so you can skip having to deal with any story lines?

When nudity is simply a gratuitous part of a film, you can immediately see that the writing, storyline and acting is bad. It seems, the director then decides to add gratuitous nudity to the film to get viewers interested, because there's just so much one can do with a silly script and bad acting.

Not one character in this film was much more than one dimensional, they were all totally uninteresting people.

Leal's character was simply a money and status obsessed sociopath who would go to any lengths to get what she wanted. She had no other agenda than to achieve money and status through an accomplished man, it was much easier for her to do that, than having her own career!

The married couple came across as two dizzy dolts who thought nothing of having a complete stranger in their home. A weird stranger who didn't even contribute to their household! Remember, they couldn't pay their mortgage!

Leal's character didn't appear to have a job, yet was allowed to remain in their house after she killed her boyfriend.

The entire premise of this film was just plain ridiculous: two professionals buy a house where they can't afford their mortgage, so they need a friend to move in. Shouldn't they have known their mortgage limits BEFORE purchasing a house?!

Have you seen porn lately? 99% of those women are hideous. With rare exceptions, truly gorgeous women don't do porn, because they simply don't have to.

Leal, and Prikryl even more so, put any pornstar to shame in the looks department. Let the fappers fap in peace, I say!

Excuse me, where are you taking us? Mexico
What's in Mexico? Mexicans

"Have you seen porn lately? 99% of those women are hideous."

My friend, you must be watching some very strange porn indeed.

"...only to be exceeded by the fatass, repulsive Danny, played by someone named Matt Lusk."

A statement like this indicates that you are a schmuck, and places your entire 'review' in an ill and dubious light.

reply

Actually, mine is not a review, my uneducated friend...it's just a statement about a BAD movie. Your reply indicates you are probably Matt Lusk himself. If so, please get a different career.

reply

Indeed, I was being generous when I referred to your diatribe as a "review", but it's so nice to learn of your modesty.
And no, I'm not Matt Lusk -- I know next to nothing about him; but I guess guys like you can't comprehend why a complete stranger would be disturbed to see an ordinary actor-- however lacking in talent he might be-- referred to as "repulsive" and a "fatass". So forget about me being Matt Lusk, a better question would be what do you have against him to inspire such vitriol-- did he steal your girl? Beat you out in acting class? Or does it just make you feel empowered, to launch ad-hominem attacks against obscure actors and other people you don't know, while surfing the internet in your mother's basement?

reply

Seriously! Every character was a terrible actor, except I think Craig who plays Mitch was an even worse actor.

The only people who can 'get into' this movie and have good things to say about it must be 15 year old boys watching for the soft-core scenes.

Couldn't agree more. I couldn't stand any of the characters!

This movie was terrible. How many times have we seen this exact same movie, with same plot, that ended the same way? Countless times, and this premise gets more predictable each time. How do films like this even get green-lighted?

"She's, like, a biscuit older than me..."

reply

I thought the acting was fine.
