property master indoor / outdoor

Who the hell came up with this nonsense?
In Germany the Prop Buyer is called: "Aussenrequisiteur". The literal translation would indeed be "Prop man outdoor", but this makes no sense and refers to his working on the outside, i.e. not on the set. The Set Dresser is called "Innenrequisiteur", prop man: interior. But again Property master Indoor is a lot of bull.
So please someone tell ImdB that they ridicule themselves by this translation
