ok i do not understand a thing about this movie. i mean all i hear is fok fok fok fokin fok cont fok. by the looks of it, seems like some irish guy tried to set up a bar in pakistan but all his waitresses refused to wear head scarves so his bar got destroyed and his friend got stoned to death and now he's out for revenge
I've just watched Route Irish, and the plot points you describe are from another film entirely. Route Irish is set in Liverpool, UK, and Baghdad, Iraq, and all the characters are either English, Scottish or Iraqi. I don't recognise the film you watched from your description.

it was definitely route irish that i watched. all the characters are the same as listed here. if someone could just explain to me what was going on then maybe this film wouldn't suck so bad

You mean the story on the book shelf behind her during the argument scene?
That was the novel "Train to Pakistan" by Khushwant Singh, its about the time of partition. it is there to symbolize the upheaval in the characters lives.
i think i heard of that book somewhere. can u describe it to me?

The one I watched, the Loach film, was most definitely about an Irish Topless Bar. The musical scenes alone make it a must see.
