I know her character is fake, that the whole movie is a media twist on what actually happened.

But the character of Karissa.. At the end when she brings up adoption to Rose, they never show her again!! And she was supposed to have gotten pregnant before the main girl, but they didn't show her at the end? So is it suppose to imply that she gave her baby up for adoption? I don't like how they didn't show what happened to her character. I didn't really care about the blonde girl (don't even know her name) but Karissa was more of a main character and they just kind of left her out at the end.

I was wondering the same thing, too.

The blonde girl you're talking about is Rose. The one who kept smoking even though she was pregnant, right? And they said that her grandma had to beg her to hold her baby. She didn't even care about her own baby!

Sarah seemed like the only one who cared when it showed her at the end with her baby.

I definitely got the impression that Karissa gave her baby up for adoption. Of all of them, she seemed like the most impressionable; just having a baby to keep up with her friends. Sara genuinely wanted to be a mother. But after she had that conversation with her mother and saw how un-fun teenage motherhood is, plus seeing how difficult it was for Rose to raise her baby, I figure that Karissa took the adoption route.
