Anticipative Romance, Very Bland

Who else was longing for a romance to blossom between Edward and Rose? It would have definitely brought something more to the movie. Also, while watching this film, I couldn't help but wish for someone to punch the sister in the face. She was a terrible character, and a complete bitch towards everyone, you couldn't relate to her what so ever.

This wasn't a bad film, per se, just very different from what I've seen before. The acting was fantastic, the location was beautiful and the direction was great. But the plot (was there one?) and the dialogue was terrible. It was very slow as well, with no real climax. I was anticipating SOMETHING to happen. Like I said before, a romance, a death or even some sort of conclusion to surface about the problems within the family. I was left with a bland taste in my mouth, sort to speak. Just nothing.

On a side note, I would have loved Rose to come back right before the family went home just to say goodbye to Edward. Again, to include a little romance would have brought a spark into the film for me.
