Brilliant Film

We show this film every year to our year 10 students as part of their PSHE lessons in the summer term. Thanks to every secondary school in the country being sent a copy by Stonewall/NASUWT. Our students love it (even the ones who have negative opinions of same sex relationships) and by the end of 3 lessons the students really enjoy the story, are able to relate it to their own opinions and apply the messages to their own relationships. As teachers we get hassled by the students who haven't had a chance to watch it yet! Brilliant film and despite the blatant Addidas sponsorship (which we also discuss) the students love spotting the actors in other films/programmes. Rating should be much much higher :) and shame it didn't get a wider general release but we will continue to use it in lessons (as of 2013 about 800 students have seen it at our school)
