Science=Flashy Graphics and Big Words

I am a clinical psychology researcher and I must say that I am glad to finally see some real science being done in paranormal investigations. Ghost hunters, ghost adventures, paranormal state, none of them have figured out if you want to do real science, you need to have flashy graphics, use big words that you made up, and make sure that all of your equipment looks really cool and sleek. Science is all about image my friends. If you think all of those biologists and chemists out there aren't just wearing lab coats and randomly fiddling with instruments all day then you are naive. When i am in the lab, I just throw on my white coat and shuffle through random papers for hours on end, maybe type some numbers into Excel. Its all about LOOKING like you are doing something scientific. Just in case someone comes by and peeks into your window, they will think you are doing something scientific. That is what is it all about and that is what these people are doing. Go ghost lab!
