I don't see where all the hating is coming from...

I don't blame people for coming down hard on "paranormal" shows, because by and large they are terrible. What this show does manage to succeed, however, is where flaccid, redundant series like "Most Haunted" and "Paranormal State" have failed: being entertaining. Yes, this show is over the top; hence the word, "Extreme" in the title. Instead of wandering around aimlessly for episodes where nothing happens other than the hosts "feeling" things or seeing things off-screen, this show produced results, both audio and visual to back-up their claims. And in the first episode no less. Of course it's not as legitimate or professional as "Ghost Hunters", but "Extreme Paranormal" does deliver.

Granted I am disappointed that evidence was not gone over more thoroughly with the audience, but beyond that it is a fun program that is not meant to be taken completely serious. So unless this program peters out in the next episode, I see no reason for disdain to rain down without real provocation.

What visual evidence did you see? The shadow I saw didn;t look like a person just a dark corner But i didn;t watch that part real hard. The lake visual was A fish breaking the top of the water as one of the guys said there were trout there and he had a flashlight pointing to the water during it which is probably why the fish broke the top of the water because of the light. I mean most of what I saw is the same thing you said the other shows did saying that you didn;t like. they felt something. They didn;t even try to debunk they just said o it is a ghost. I mean they were saying the wind was a spirit because they said it blew when they said the ghosts name. It was during a storm the wind is going to blow. This show was beond pathetic There wasan;t much entertainment value in my opinion.

The EVP they caught at the lake sounded waaaaayyy too clear, I'm 99.99% certain it was fake. The 3 individuals came across as credulous true-believers whose perpetually spiking adrenaline levels cannot compensate for the fact that they are lacking in brain cells. I actually couldn't believe that I was allowing myself to watch this tripe.

reply

How would you like to be a relative of one of the prisoners that were not only murdered, but tortured and mutilated and these fat a$$ed punks are on there calling them ba$tards and making taunts all for "entertainment"?

That one little creep looks like Louie Anderson. I expected for him to launch into, "Hey, I started out mopping the floor just like you guys. But now... now I'm washing lettuce. Soon I'll be on fries; then the grill. And pretty soon, I'll make assistant manager, and that's when the big bucks start rolling in".

If my answers frighten you then you should cease asking scary questions.

reply

maybe not fake. some things can look like faces but it doesnt mean they are fake faces. it just looks like one. some sounds can sound like 'help me' but it definitely doesnt mean someone is saying those words.

God the three guys on this show are annoying. It's just a bunch of hyperactive fat guys running around.

God the three guys on this show are annoying. It's just a bunch of hyperactive fat gay guys running around.

FiFY

What a joke. The one guy still uses his fake professional wrestling voice.
Kinda shows what type of loser idiots are involved and watch that type of show.

what it delivers is asinine stupidity. it's in the same pathetic league as ghost adventures & most haunted. it's about 3 modern day stooges (a wannabe tough guy=moe, a gay guy with a bad 80s haircut=larry, and pudgy baby huey=curly) bumbling around and supposedly seeing & hearing things that can't be substantiated by verifiable evidence. it's sad that today, people believe that idiocy is entertainment (e.g. youtube, most reality shows, jackass movies).

reply

I guess the point that pushed me over the edge and into hysterics, would be when baby huey is burried alive in the swamp, and listens to his EVP's (while in the coffin). Fatty then radios dumb & dumber, and plays them the EVP... OVER THE WALKIE TALKIE!!! and they hear it... and say (in voice-over) "We better dig'em up!"

Wow... The sheer stupidity of this show is enough to make you wanna tune in.

reply

lol.

People on this board take paranormal television shows seriously. That cracks me up.

"These guys totally disrespect spirits man!"

reply

And would the gator have given up so easily on them? That thing could've easily knocked their boat over and this "reality" show would've never aired.

reply

This show is brilliant! Yes, it's as fake as plastic, but it's obviously not a reality show. It's a parody of all ghost hunting shows.

Life feeds on life

reply

You should tell the people in the show that is a parody then. I don;t think they know.

I have to chime in here

I'm seeing a lot of bashing without any common logic.

Bare in mind , I'm no direct supporter of the show.
Sure , it's amusing for sure.

But I didn't take it so seriously to think that all things that happen are happening in the here and now and not possibly altered after.

However -

Let's go over some things said

First being the EVP

EVP in the Paranormal Science and Research Field can be remarkably clear or obscenely obscured and static. Unfortunately everything is subject to interpretation.

One person said something about asinine TV?

Well - I briefly Checked , (wonders and power of Google)
I saw no same comments about riddiculous asinine TV on any other shows like it
Survivor
Big Brother
South Park
Simpsons
Family Guy
Futurama
The Hills
The City

etc..etc..
I could Go on
LAWMAN <-- HA

yet , come here , and speak up in such a manner.
Forgive me , but it seems that you are allowing your personal perspective in this as ammunition to attack a show that regardless of how it maybe presented , it's whole purpose is ENTERTAINMENT

look at the name of the Station it's on A&E (ARTS AND ENTERTAINMENT)
The show is pathetic
it's references to the Occult are thin.
It seems overdone and over act'd

And yes 2 of them are over weight.

However - grow a pair , develop some form of testicular fortitude
the moment you attack someones weight (which has no relevance to the show)
you just show how pathetic , childish and useless your opinion is.

However - being a Former fat man
I'm pretty sure I'm biased...

But I'm man enough to admit it.

The show does it's job.
It entertains... if you look at it from that perspective.
