Since HBO has the rights for the remake and eyes on David Simon, it could hit or miss, maybe fills up House of Cards, once it finishes its run. Which actors you can see take on the roles?

Kasper Juul - Bokeem Woodbine
It would be more interesting to see the real life politicians that each character would emulate in a US setting. As you know, the goal of the original series was to create support for the political left in Denmark. Each "fictional" party and character drew inspiration from the real world.
shareThat explains it, I'm just watching season one and it seem like some fancy socialist realism- In episode where PM to be, has negotiations whith whome to go to parlament- everybody from right political spectrum was from first clance suspicious. Literally took the cake that fat slob who recommended her to sit on a end of the table.
