As an American, I'm used to seeing people sitting down on broadcast news and on news/political panel discussions. It's quite rare to see everyone standing, except during big political debates. But Katrine stood while anchoring the news, Kasper & Torben stood during their show, Brigitte stood during each interview, etc.
I wonder - is that how things are normally done on Danish television news?
Haha great observation! By far most news-broadcasts are done sitting down, but the evening broadcast on TV2 at 10pm and the one on DR1 at 9pm (the biggest broadcast-stations in Denmark), are both done with the news-anchor stranding up and moving around the studio.
There are weekly news-related debateprograms in Denmark that are much more similar to the one pictured in Borgen. But they don't get anywhere near as many views are the other two evening-broadcasts
