I love Kenichi Matsuyama and I am confident he was the best choice for Kato! Since this movie has been announced I rewatched Gantz and I kept thinking about who to cast as the other characters and I really really wanna see Ryuhei Matsuda as Nishi!
He would be awesome!!

Way back when I first saw the anime I thought "Wow, if this was live action, Nishi should be played by Matsuda." I wonder if he was approached for it.
