An open letter to the characters:

Dear characters of Gantz:

First of all, since this seemed to be a major problem for you - here is how you use a gun:

•Step 1: Point at target.
•Step 2: Pull trigger.

Note that nowhere did I say "freeze up and stare in terror at the slow, easily-killable monster while it reduces half your team to hamburger meat."

Also, here are some survival tips I thought might be useful:

- Do NOT try to take on the eight-armed, super-fast death machine with a sword you've obviously never even been trained with.
That's like taking on three Mike Tysons at once when you've never even boxed before. When your teammate dies this way, don't pick up said sword and get run through even faster than she did.
- When the vet who's been through a million and one matches tells you to put on the suit and stay together, you should probably listen to him instead of dismissing him as a liar for some completely arbitrary reason.
- But if you're going to run, run AWAY from the monsters.

Do that in part 2 and more of you should survive.
