pull the #!%^!#% trigger....

Did anyone else get this damn feeling throughout the whole movie. It's been awhile since I watched the anime, but I'm pretty certain it wasn't this bad after the first alien....

Lots of wasted time watching kids go all emo and whine and scramble around. Multiple times they've had the target on sight and none of them pull the trigger...

And as usual with Japanese films, there is a severe lack of editing to keep the flow of the movie going. Instead you have drawn out scenes for no reason.

Movie in the end was ok because I enjoyed the gantz premise... but yeah... still very annoyed

I sure did, I don't remember if the anime had this problem but I know the manga did... in fact I think the problem was worse there.

Yeah I've noticed this with Chinese and Korean films as well. Different culture I guess.

Well in the anime, they had to fill the 30-min slot. In real life, a lot of people will hesitate. Real-life documents on war shows that a lot of soldiers actually don't pull the trigger.
