Most of the time when I get movies like this they end up being a let down...this was worth the watch.

shareWe just watched it last night with Ravenous.
Damn fun movie. Not great, better than just good but most importantly, I would never feel silly recommending it.
What to like:
Quality cinematography.
Beautiful scenery.
Completely believable characters.
No preachy messaging in the plot.
Great monster/s
Fairly original.
Well within the levels of; Shawn of the Dead, Paul, The Wolds End, Doghouse and the like.
No really "cliche" horror/monster movie characters or match-ups.
Damn glad we Netflixed it.
